Mr. Schifman has been a partner in and has served on the Board of Directors for numerous entrepreneurial firms in Los Angeles. As an advisor, his focus has been on the financing, strategic planning and corporate development activities of early stage companies and those going through significant growth. He has over 30 years of successful operational experience in managing businesses in the real estate, manufacturing, distribution, and high technology industries.

Mr. Schifman has been the co-founder of Angeles Ventures, a consulting and venture capital investment group, Camden Properties, a real estate syndication firm, Enigma Digital, a highly successful internet music startup which was sold to a multi-billion dollar publicly traded broadcasting company, and Cinebase Software, a venture technology company.

Among Mr. Schifman’s earliest activities was the founding and building of an international manufacturing business in the home furnishings industry that grew to $100 million dollars within five years of its inception.

Mr. Schifman graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in accounting and spent his early professional years in the tax and management services department of a national accounting firm. He has also served as President and Chairman of the Medallion Group of Cedars Sinai Medical Center, a group of senior Los Angeles executives that have raised millions of dollars to build and support the Cardiac and Laser Medical Research Laboratories at Cedars Sinai.
